Patrick helps to guide grant nominees through the negotiation process and provides support to innovators throughout the duration of their projects. Patrick was born and bred in Harrow, London, UK. He studied English Literature and Media at the University of Portsmouth in the south coast of England. He has a strong background in team leadership and bookmaking in the online sports betting industry.
In 2011, Patrick relocated to Canada in search of new challenges and experiences, as a Program Officer for the Global Mental Health program at Grand Challenges Canada. Patrick spent a year working at the University of Toronto’s Earth Sciences department, and with the University Health Network (UHN) Infrastructure department.
