201 million. That’s the number of people experiencing humanitarian crises. Millions of them are unreachable by traditional aid delivery due to armed conflict. Millions more are displaced. However, many of them could benefit from the bold solutions that we’ll showcase and discuss during the Humanitarian Grand Challenge and the World Food Programme’s Innovation Acceleration Week.
The World Food Programme’s Innovation Accelerator team is hosting the Innovation Acceleration Week event for our chosen innovators next month, in Munich.
From 9-13 December, humanitarian and innovation experts will help our innovators dive deep into challenges, generate solutions, and refine their project plans.
On Thursday, December 12th at 18:00 CET | 12:00 EST, a Pitch Night will take place where all 25 teams will be given the chance to showcase their innovations to impress investors, donors, people affected by humanitarian crises, government officials, humanitarian partners—and you!
Watch us live on our Facebook page, and see our innovators’ groundbreaking ideas to help the most vulnerable people impacted by conflict.
Together we can create hope in conflict. We hope you’ll join us!
Stay tuned for Innovator Acceleration Week updates by subscribing to our newsletter, and keeping up with us on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram!
